The Bridge of Sighs - Ponte dei Sospiri, Venezia

It passes over the Rio di Palazzo, connecting the old prisons to the interrogation rooms in the Dodge's Palace and it was built in 1602. The name was given by Lord Byron who considered that the prisoners would sigh at their final view of beautiful Venice.
