The Château Frontenac is a grand hotel in Quebec, Canada. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1980. The Château Frontenac was designed by American architect Bruce Price, as one of a series of "château" style hotels built for the Canadian Pacific Railway company. The Château Frontenac was named after Louis de Buade, Count of Frontenac, who was governor of the colony of New France from 1672 to 1682 and 1689 to 1698.

The Horseshoe Falls - Niagara Falls

The Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls, is part of Niagara Falls, on the Niagara River. The name is derived from its curving, horseshoe-shaped crest that is 671 metres in width. At the center of the Horseshoe Falls the water is about 3 metres deep. It passes over the crest at a speed of about 32 kilometres per hour. The fall is 53 metres high.

Nova Scotia

 Is a small city that is part of the Cariboo District of British Columbia, Canada. The name derives from Jules Maurice Quesnel, who accompanied Simon Fraser on his journey to the Pacific Ocean.Quesnel came to called 'Quesnellemouth' to distinguish it from 'Quesnel Forks', 60 miles up river. In 1870 it had been shortened to Quesnelle and by 1900 it was spelled the way it is now.
