Taipei 101
Formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center, is a landmark skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building ranked officially as the world's tallest from 2004 until the opening of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2010. Taipei 101 comprises 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. The building was architecturally created as a symbol of the evolution of technology and Asian tradition (see Symbolism). Its postmodernist approach to style incorporates traditional design elements and gives them modern treatments. The tower is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes.
The National Palace Museum, Taipei
The National Palace Museum is an art museum in Taipei, Taiwan. It is the national museum of the Republic of China, and has a permanent collection of over 677,687 pieces of ancient Chinese artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest in the world. The collection encompasses over 8,000 years of Chinese history.
Eternal Golden Castle, Tainan
Is a defensive castle in Anping, Tainan. It was build in 1874 in order to safeguard the coast and to defend the island from the Japanese invasions.

Is the largest body of water in Taiwan. It is 27m deep and has a surface area of approximately 7.93 sq km.
