Plaza de Toros de Valencia


Is a bullring in València, Spain. It is currently used for bull fighting. The stadium holds 12,884 people. It was built in 1851. The Valencian bullring, situated next to the North Station, was built between 1850 and 1860 and the architect was Sebastian Monleon.

Camp Nou, Barcelona


Camp Nou has been the home of Futbol Club Barcelona since 1957. The Camp Nou seats 99,786, reduced to 96,336 in matches organized by UEFA, making it the largest stadium in Europe and the 13th largest in the world in terms of capacity. It has hosted numerous international matches at a senior level, including two UEFA Champions League finals and the football competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Parc Güell, Barcelona


 Is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. It has an extension of 0.1718 km², which makes it one of the largest architectural works in south Europe. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, Barcelona


The fountain is situated below the Palau Nacional on the Montjuïc hill and near the Plaça d'Espanya.  Like most of the surrounding developments, it was constructed for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. Performances include film, classical, and modern music, such as The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, a Spanish zarzuela movement, and "Barcelona" by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé.



Puerto de Barcelona


The Port of Barcelona has a 2000-year history and great contemporary commercial importance. It is Catalonia's largest port, vying with Tarragona, and Europe's ninth largest container port. The Port Vell area comprises two marinas or yacht harbors, a fishing port, a maritime station for ferries travelling to the Balearic Islands and other destinations in the Mediterranean and other stations or landing areas for cruise ships, and it abuts the industrial port.



Castillo de Peñíscola


The present castle was built by the Knights Templar between 1294 and 1307. In the fourteenth century it was garrisoned by the Knights of Montesa, and in 1420 it reverted to the Crown of Aragon. From 1415 to 1423 it was the home of the schismatic Avignon pope Benedict XIII (Pedro de Luna). The castle was restored, improved and new walls were added in 1960 when Anthony Mann's film El Cid was partially filmed there

Peñíscola


Peniscola, often called the "Gibraltar of Valencia," and locally as "The City in the Sea" is a fortified seaport, with a lighthouse, built on a rocky headland about 67 m high, and joined to the mainland by only a narrow strip of land. The history of the place goes back to the Iberians.

Morella


Morella is an ancient walled city located on a hill-top in the province of Castellón, Valencian Community, Spain. The town is the capital and administrative centre of the comarca of Els Ports, in the historic Maestrat (Maestrazgo) region.

Benicasim, Costa del Azahar


Benicàssim is a municipality embracing a beach resort located in the province of Castellón, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The mountain range known as Desert de les Palmes rises inland protecting the town from the north wind.

Plaza de Las Platerias, Santiago de Compostela



The Silver Square is bound by the cathedral and the cloister on two of its sides. The decoration of the Plaza de la Platerias  dates from between 1078 to 1103. Its name is derived from a silversmith settlement that has a large number of premises devoted to jewelry of the Middle Ages. In the center of the square, stands the Italian-style Fountain of Horses which Federico García Lorca nicknamed "The Fountain of the Dream" in one of his poems. Of these horses, there is a pedestal topped by a female figure with one arm raised, holding the star of Compostela. This fountain was designed and constructed by J. Pernas in 1825.

Costellada in Catalunya


One of the most representative Catalan gastronomy-centered events is the Calçotada. This is a group event where a certain type of tender onions (calçots) are barbecued outdoors, among much feasting and merrymaking with family and friends.
Similar occasions may be the Costellada and the Botifarrada, where mutton ribs or botifarra sausages are barbecued.


Tenerife


Is the largest and most populous island of the seven Canary Islands. The earliest known human settlement in the islands date to around 200 BC, by people known as the Guanches. According to legend, many islands in the chain, among them Tenerife, were believed to be the uppermost peaks of Atlantis, which catastrophically sank under the ocean leaving only the highest mountains above sea level.

The Crystal Palace, Madrid

A glass palace situated in Madrid's Buen Retiro Park. It was built in 1887 to exhibit the flora and fauna of the Philippines. It is 22m high and is today used for art exhibits.

City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia


Is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia. The City of Arts was designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela. The project underwent the first stages of construction in July 1996 and the finished "city" was inaugurated April 16, 1998 with the opening of L'Hemisfèric.

Segovia


Segovia was first recorded as a Celtic possession, with control eventually transferring into the hands of the Romans. In 1985 the old city of Segovia and its Aqueduct were declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Within the environment of the old city, stand diversity of historic buildings both civil and religious, not just Catholics but also Jews.

Royal Palace


Palacio Real is the official residence of the King of Spain, but is used only for state ceremonies, having 2800 rooms. Its construction started on April 7, 1738 and was first inhabited in 1764.

Sagrada Família, Barcelona


Is a large Catholic Church in Barcelona, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí devoted his last years to the project and at the time of his death in 1926, less than a quarter of the project was completed.  Construction past its mid-point in 2010 and has as anticipated date of completion 2026 - the centennial of Gaudí's death.

Lloret de Mar


Lloret de Mar is a Mediterranean coastal town in Catalonia and one of the most popular holiday resorts on the Costa Brava. There are historical remains of Iberian and Roman civilizations at various archeological sites. The first written references to Lloret de Mar can be found in documents from 966 as Loredo from the Latin word "lauretum" (bay laurel).
