Vasco da Gama Bridge, Lisbon

Is a cable-stayed bridge flanked by viaducts and rangeviews that spans the Tagus River, near Lisbon. It is the longest bridge in Europe with a total length 17.2 km. The bridge was open to traffic on 29th of March 1998, 18 months after construction first began.
